	Airport Security measures

The rules about cabin baggage are still quite strict at most airports including Gatwick in that you can only take one item of hand baggage and no liquids greater than 100ml (the size of a toothpaste tube) through the security check. Once in the duty free area you can buy bottles of drink to take on board the aircraft. If you do take a small bottle or tube of any liquid through security, it should be contained in a re-sealable see-through plastic bag.

Easyjet have a policy of allowing only one piece of hold baggage per person, so if you check in more than one piece of luggage each you will be charged extra at check-in. The weight limit is 20kg. You can also take one item of hand baggage which needs to fit these dimensions: 55x40x20cm. There is no pre-set weight limit – you just have to be able to lift it into the overhead locker!
