Christian ski hotels

You’ll have a warm welcome at our friendly Christian-run hotels. In France we run our hotel ourselves with our own staff team, while in Austria we are delighted to introduce two completely different hotels. You can choose between an attractive modern hotel in the quiet village of Itter, or a magnificent ancient castle close to the slopes of the Kitzbuhel ski area.

Our resorts are among the biggest and best in the world. In France we have Alpe d’Huez, a huge ski area with no fewer than 5 satellite ski villages and 250km of slopes to explore. In Austria we have two resorts at opposite ends of the same ski area even though they are over 20 miles apart, such is the vastness of the combined Skiwelt/Kitzbuhel ski region.

Excellent hotel service

All our holidays are half board, so you’ll start the day with a generous breakfast with a three or four course meal in the evening. This meal frequently becomes one of the social high spots of the holiday. In Alpe d’Huez only, we will also provide afternoon tea as soon as you’re back from the slopes, Relax and chat relaying the adventures of the day over a reviving drink and cake.

Holiday Ministry

As well as ski reps and hotel staff we will have holiday leaders with every group who will be there to provide the Christian ministry for the holiday.

Each evening there will be a meeting with prayer worship and Bible teaching to which all are welcome; a relaxed and happy atmosphere in which to pray and praise together. Come expecting God to speak to you and we are sure you will not be disappointed.

But holiday ministry is not something that one person can organise for everybody else. It is simply the friendship and fellowship that grows between God’s people – the indefinable special ingredient of a Christian holiday.

Our holidays are designed to be all embracing – singles, couples, families and groups are all welcome.

Families and children

We think Alpe d’Huez will be a brilliant resort for families as there’s just so much to do, and it’s all so close to the hotel. We also have a week at Schloss Mittersill at the start of the Easter holidays giving great value family skiing.

Family discounts

We have some great family discounts to keep the cost down in these recessionary times. Children under 12 benefit from half price places in all our hotels as long as they are sharing with two adults (or children 12 and over). Children aged 13 or over or additional adults in a room together also benefit from a 25% reduction.

We have family rooms in all our resorts. In Alpe d’Huez there are 3 four bedded rooms and 3 triples. The Edelweiss Hotel in Itter has several family rooms and one enormous suite which in Schloss Mittersill there are some rooms that are simply vast and large enough to accommodate the biggest family imaginable!

Groups

Skiing and boarding is great fun with a group of friends. Why not get a group together and grab yourself a free holiday!

With LivingSki just ten adults booking with you earn you a free place! (You need 15 at high season). If your group is a combination of adults and children, a free child place can be offered instead. Please call us if you are planning a group as we can give extra discounts if you use the rooms to their maximum capacity.

Don’t forget you could spread the cost saving among the group, so everyone benefits.

Exclusive use of our hotels?

Looking for a hotel to yourselves? We can arrange it! Maybe you want to organise a church holiday or a break for your house group or extended family – we can probably accommodate you! Exclusive use of one of our hotels can be yours for a booking of around 30 people or upwards depending on the time of the season.

Our Prices

We’ve priced our holidays as accommodation only although that includes the full ministry and evening programme. Flights and transfers are not included to give you maximum choice in your travel arrangements. However we don’t expect you to do all the work and can provide information and help to find the cheapest flight and transfer to match. Please call us and we’ll guide you through it all.
